I have been quoted on a German website
Today I was quoted in Philibuster on the “Gay Girl in Damascus” blogger hoax controversy. The article is in German only. Big shout-out and thanks to Nadia Shehadeh.

Arte TV (Tracks) mentioned me!
Thank you, Arte TV, for featuring me and popular British artist Sarah Maple for the popular programme "Tracks" in French and German! Arte TV wanted to film me and interview me, but it was not possible due to schedule conflicts & locations (Arte TV is located in France and Germany and me over here in United States of America), so instead Sarah Maple discussed one of my videos and gave me a nice shout-out mention.
Both versions (in French and German) will air in Europe soon (I dont know the dates, because I can't understand French or German), but the programme is also available online.

my film will make its India premiere next month in Kerala!
I have been asked to be part of the 4th International Documentary and Short Film Festival in Kerala, India (in the capital city of Thiruvananthapuram). My film, Wedding Night, will make its India premiere at the festival. The festival opens July 1st, 2011 and ends on July 5th. If you're in Kerala, you should go see my film and tell me all about it.
Many thanks to Aseem Chhabra (festival organizer of New York Indian Film Festival) for making this happen.
Grazie, Shukriya, Terima Kasih!

99 Bollywood Vampires, Part 4
Bollywood Bloodbath!

There's a dumb tradition in Hindi cinema that once a successful actress gets married, she must give up acting and devote all her time to the family, no matter how famous or successful she is. Even if she marries into a famous Bollywood dynasty family and if her husband is a famous actor, she's still expected to give it all up and become a housewife. That's happened to a lot of famous actresses over time, but that's starting to change today.
